From our Operations Managers and Move Coordinators to our Removals Foremen and Operatives we ensure our teams are constantly being trained, updated and re-trained to the highest industry standard. For over 100 years, the British Association of Removers (BAR) has been the recognised voice of the professional moving and storage industry in the United Kingdom. Choosing a BAR Member will ensure your move goes smoothly with added peace of mind that comes from using a reputable, professional and safe remover, and in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, you’ve got someone to turn to. BAR is the first UK Trade Association to have Assured Advice, under the Primary Authority regulations and a Trading Standards Institute Code of Practice and an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme.

- Setting high professional standards for the industry by our Membership Criteria, and the BAR Code of Practice, approved by the Trading Standards Institute;

Our experience and expertise
One thing that is invaluable in this day and age is experience. In our 40 years, we have overseen every kind of move imaginable, from singular high value items to small flat moves and large country estates to confidential records management and out of hours relocation of office equipment. We are as happy moving priceless paintings and art sculptures across the world as we are moving a small family home from one side of town to the other.
